Dear SFAACC Members and Business Community,

Celebrating the remarkable contributions of Black women entrepreneurs globally is vital, not just in San Francisco. Their innovative spirit, resilience, and leadership have profoundly influenced various industries, generating employment opportunities and inspiring countless individuals. As we commemorate Women's History Month this March, let's highlight their achievements and continue championing their voices and businesses.
Did you know that Sarah Breedlove, also known as Madam C.J. Walker, became the U.S.'s first self-made African-American female millionaire? Her groundbreaking work in developing beauty care products for black women is a testament to her entrepreneurial brilliance.
This month, we'll continue showcasing and honoring our members' expertise with awards. Recently, we advocated for lifting the embargo in Cuba by delivering letters on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
I'm excited about our upcoming Business Mixer and the valuable information we'll share this month. Let's take a moment to congratulate and support our fellow business sisters by purchasing their products or utilizing their services.
Warm regards,
Brigette
